How can I play the audio from the website?

You can listen to the audio in two ways. Direct Flash Streaming, or downloading the MP3 File.

Direct Flash Streaming

If you have a fast Internet connection you can play the audio directly using Flash.The Flash audio is “streamed” into your computer. This means the audio is downloaded and played at the same time. It will play instantly.

The downside is that you have to remain connected to the Internet to listen to the audio. If you do not see the “play” button on the audio download page then you probably do not have Flash installed on your computer.

How can I download MP3 format files from the website?

To download the MP3 format follow these simple steps:

• Right-click on the MP3 audio link (With Mac, press Command + Click)
• From the drop down menu that shows, select SAVE TARGET AS.
• Press Enter. The file will be downloaded and saved onto your computer.

Depending on your Internet connection speed the download could take from 1 min to 1 hr.

How can I put the audio files into my iPod?

In order to add the audio files in your iPod you should first import the audio into your iTunes library and then synchronize your iPod with iTunes.

What software I need to play the audio/video files?

Most computers will already have the required software to play audio and video installed. If you do not have the software (you will know this if after you download the audio your machine can’t seem to play it), you can reinstall a newer version.

How can play/download the audio files if my internet connection is slow?

If you have a fair enough fast internet connection, you should be able to listen the audios from the website by clicking the Play button.

How can I put the audio into a CD?

There are 2 steps to have the audios on your CD.

1. Download the mp3. Right click on the link, and choose “Save Link As..” or “Save Target As…” to download the file.

2. Insert a blank CD into your CD burner, and use a program of your choice to write the MP3s into the blank audio CD. If you’re using Windows, it comes with the default Windows Media Player which can help you do this.

What can I get from the free lessons?

The lessons are designed as a 3 week training program on Harnessing the Power of Your Mind. We find that by breaking up the course into easy to understand chunks we help people learn and absorb the material better.

Why I am not receiving all the free lessons at once?

We cannot send all the lessons at once because they are meant to follow a training program with techniques that need you to practice and repeat before going to the next one. But you will receive one lesson every 2-3 days.

Should I stop the free lessons and work with CDs? can I also use other products at the same time?

We recommend you to work with the CD when you have them and stop the free lessons.

You would benefit significantly since with the Silva Method you learn how to use more of your mind and brain with your own self controls.

I seem to have problems reaching the Alpha level of mind. Can you help me with this?

This is a basic recommendation to enter into the Alpha level. Just follow these simple steps:

Sit in a comfortable sitting position, close your eyes, take a deep breath and while exhaling mentally repeat and visualize the number 3 three times. (Number 3 is for physical relaxation)

Take another deep breath and while exhaling mentally repeat and visualize the number 2 three times. (Number 2 is for mental relaxation)

Take another deep breath and while exhaling mentally repeat and visualize the number 1 three times. (Number 1 is the basic plain level)

At this pint you will be into a deeper healthier level of mind deeper then before.

To help you enter a deeper healthier level of mind count from 10 to 1 slowly; your mind will adjust to a deeper, healthier level of mind. Remember “Deeper” does not refer to brain frequencies. We say “lower” when we refer to slower frequencies.

Here is where you present your case to higher intelligence. When you’re working a case with higher intelligence; you and higher intelligence will take 15 minutes to correct the situation and to find a solution to the problem you have in mind.

Remember once you present your problem to higher intelligence your problem becomes a project. Once you and higher intelligence are done working on the project you thank higher intelligence for helping you and you count yourself out from 1 to 5 slowly; mentally telling yourself that at the count of 5 you will open your eyes, be wide awake, feeling fine and in perfect health, feeling better than before; 1, 2, 3, and at the count of 3 remind yourself that at the count of 5 you will open your eyes and be wide awake, feeling find and in perfect health, feeling better than before; 4, 5 and at the count of 5 open your eyes and say mentally,

“I’m feeling fine and in perfect health, feeling much better than before.”

Can I add my own affirmations at Alpha level?

You can add as many affirmations if you want to. Here are some affirmations used by Jose Silva, you can add them to your list:

• The difference between genius mentality and lay mentality is that geniuses use more of their mind and use them in a special manner. I am now learning to use more of my mind and to use it in a special manner.
• My increasing mental faculties are for serving humanity better. Every day, in every way, I am getting better, better and better.
• Positive thoughts bring me benefits and advantages I desire.
• I have full control and complete dominion over my sensing faculties at this level of the mind and any other level, including the outer conscious level.
• I will always maintain a perfectly healthy body and mind.

Remember affirmations are mentally said before coming out of levels.

Jose Silva used to say to his children “practice, practice, practice 3 times a day for 15 minutes each time waiting 3 days for a solution to come forth”. He would also say be aware of your surroundings for an answer will come in any form or shape.

Remember to talk positive, walk positive, stand positive and be the positive person you should be at all times. Also remember to omit negative words such as “I can’t, I’ll try, I’m never lucky, I’m so stupid and so on… These kind of words will only hold you back from living life to the fullest and will take the process longer in finding a solution.

What is this tapping sound at the background? (Alpha sound)

The “tapping” sound in the background of the audio is called the “Alpha Beat”. It’s a sound that’s beating at 12 pulses per second.

Why 12 pulses per second?

That’s because the brain frequency at the Alpha level is 12 cycles per second. So this sound is beating at the Alpha frequency. As such, it helps guide your brain to relax and slow down from Beta (which is 21 cycles per second) to Alpha (12 cycles).

The sound will tend to fade away after a few minutes. It will seem like nothing more than background noise. This is normal. Your brain will adjust to it and ignore it as you focus on the guided meditation exercise.

What is the seminar registration fee of $75?

When you register to a seminar, we charge you $75 for the registration fee.

This fee is the price you pay to be registered to attend a seminar, then on the day of the seminar (or before, depending on the instructor policy) you should pay the rest of the cost of the seminar.

What is the price of the seminar? Is there any discount?

The costs of a seminar ranges between $445 and $495 when you reserve at least 7 days in advance. As said before, this fee should be payed directly to the instructor.

If the instructor offer any particular discount on the cost of the seminar, that is something that should be discussed directly with the instructor. This discount do not apply to the registration fee which will be always of $75

If I am a Silva Graduate and I want to attend the Seminar again, How much should I pay?

The fee that a Silva Graduate pay to attend the Seminar again is $50.00 only. This should be stated on registration at least 7 days in advance. This fee should be payed directly to the instructor and present your Graduate ID Card.

There are no seminars in my city, what can I do?

If your city doesn’t appear in our list of seminars, most probably is because the interest was never there and at this point in time Silva International is not training new instructors.

But Silva International can send a Certified Silva Instructors to present a class in your city providing that you can be an organizer to the instructor that will commute to that city.

Know that we have Certified Silva Instructors that are qualified to present and that residing near most cities in the US and Canada and even Laura Silva Quesada from home office can commute to this city if you were to organizer a class for her.

Therefore you would receive fees as an organizer, Silva International receives from the gross 10% and the profits to the organizer would be 30% and 70% to the Certified Silva Instructor that is presenting.
